Facets of Faith: Interfaith-Intangible Trail is one of the core programs Inheritance. This program in essence combines the wisdom of Vaudhauva Kutumbakam. Through this program, one gets to know the oneness of the Human Family, our shared ideals of hope, love, compassion, and concern for everyone. It doesn't stop there. This program enables one to imbibe the leadership qualities based on ethics and appeals to one's mind and heart. The idea is to translate the key principles of different faith traditions into everyday life so that the dream of an amicable world gets realized. Facets of Faith aims to create this impact by meeting Faith leaders, learning the ground realities concerning different communities, and imbibing the leadership skills of different scholars and organizations. It is not only about finding solace in scriptures but about personal and collective transformation. By reaching out to different communities and understanding their worldviews and basic teachings of their faiths, the program aims to promote social cohesion.

Why Facets of Faith?
Understanding the pluralistic culture of Delhi: This initiative seeks to educate children and youth about Delhi’s rich tapestry of culture, faiths, and messages of peace, using a narrative approach to explore its diversity and pluralistic character. The program invites young students and curious adults alike to discover the city’s heritage and traditions, while uncovering the deeper interconnections that shape its vibrant identity. The following are the guiding principles of the Interfaith-Intangible Trail:
-
Creating a Mindset for Peace
This journey invites hearts to witness the unseen threads of India’s oneness-woven gently through the seen: sacred symbols, ancient monuments, shared meals, textured fabrics, architectures, and timeless pilgrimage paths of Delhi. It is in the tangible that the intangible whispers!
2. Embracing the Other, Recognizing the Self
Through the lens of lived experience, we soften the edges between ‘me’ and ‘them.’ By walking the shared roads of memory: what we eat, how we pray, the stories stitched into our clothes-we begin to heal the fractures of identity. In difference, we find echoes of the same soul.
3. Honouring the Beauty of Difference
Every tradition is a color in the grand tapestry of our collective being. This initiative plants the idea that another’s truth is not a threat, but a treasure. With open eyes and open hearts, we zoom in to marvel at the details, and zoom out to behold the grandeur of Delhi’s spiritual and cultural mosaic.
